Weekly soapbox meetings are a place for everybody (that includes you!) to
share quick updates. Things you might here about at Soapbox include business or departmental
updates, new employee introductions, financial results or sales updates, or bright spots
happening around the company.
The purpose is to:
1. Align: Let’s head in the same direction and get ourselves aligned so we are
more efficient and effective.
2. Inform: We can broaden each other’s knowledge about what is going on in the
organization so we can work smarter.
3. Inspire: A key way for us to win and grow is to share our creative ideas and
celebrate the things that are going well.
Our company intranet site, encompasses our corporate and restaurant portals

Coinciding with the timing of incentive payments, Employee Appreciation week is a time for hard work to be celebrated. It typically includes a social event and a bit of extra time off.
Diversity permeates the Jack in the Box Inc. organization. In 2005, Jack in the Box created
a cross-functional Diversity & Inclusion Team that continues to lead various diversity and
inclusion initiatives for the company.
In the spirit of Diversity & Inclusion, there are several Business Resource Groups (BRGs)
that corporate employees can participate in. A BRG consists of employees who share common
interests to work together strategically, while contributing to the company’s success. The
purpose of BRGs is to foster awareness, respect and inclusion within the workplace. Some of
the BRGs that exist today include one for developing women leaders and one for celebrating
and understanding the different generations that make up our work force.

group efforts supporting these and other community partners.

The Company encourages volunteering in your community and provides opportunities to
participate in group volunteer efforts through the Company’s Brand Ambassadors program. We
show our brand pride by wearing an official Brand Ambassadors shirt while working together
as a team in the community.
To recognize your volunteer efforts, regular, full-time CSC/IC employees who participate in
a Brand Ambassadors volunteer event may receive one volunteer day off with pay per fiscal
year. The volunteer day off must be taken within 30 days of the date of the volunteer event,
